Heather grew up in Stanley, Idaho. Her love for the natural world was shaped at an early age and fostered by a long career of guiding. She has an adventurous nature that has led to some extensive traveling throughout the US, Canada, Mexico, and Europe.
She is passionate about health, holistic healing and all the therapies that support it. Her previous time spent working in emergency medicine incited a strong curiosity and understanding of the body, as well as a desire to be more involved in preventive and recovery care. She then attended the Utah College of Massage Therapy in 2010, choosing UCMT in part for their connection with the University of Utah Anatomy & Physiology Lab and the professor’s choice to use the same curriculum as the U of U pre-med program. She studied Cranial Sacral, Shiatsu, Acupressure, Reflexology, Movement & Structural, Sports Massage, Russian Sports Massage, Trigger Point Theory, and Swedish. She enjoys practicing a wide range of modalities and is passionate about learning new techniques, most recently adding Gua Sha & Cupping to her skillset.
When she is not at the table helping others to feel their best, she may be found enjoying Idaho’s geothermal waters or out adventuring with her husband, Ryan, and their dog Odin.
